¨"This place is a pedophile´s dream." There´s an Elementary School right next to my apartment. The kids have their PE class on the roof, because there is no room in Barcelona for things such as grassy fields. Their play area just so happens to be just a little below my balcony, so I watch them when i´m bored, when i´m eating, or when i´m looking cheap entertainment.

A little boy this morning had a t-shirt on that said SUCK MY D1CK across it. Laugh, laugh, laugh. How come the teacher lets him wear that? The teacher probably doesn´t know what it says. Almost no one speaks English here. I am a foreigner, and have almost completely lost my ability to concentrate. I´ll write letters when i´m able to get through more than a sentence without becoming distracted. -Allison

If you run across a spritely nymphet who goes by Lo, make sure to give me all the sordid details.

I love it when you immerse yourself in a new country, and the daily mundane events become so fascinating and exciting, because it's all new!

However, I'm curious. Do you speak Spanish?

Gah, absolutely! Everything is a challenge, especially since i don´t speak any Spanish, except for the very, very, very basics, and novelty phrases like "I am a cripple."

I´m here to learn, though. That´s the point of this trip. -Allison

but you love it
isn't it so dangerous?
they learn catalan as kids, then spanish in schools, then french if they want to further their knowledge of languages..english is not a common option in school, i was told.
you are probably getting ready to have dinner now..and then in a few hours will be out on the town. if you feel lonely for english speakers head down to la rambla and go to the Kabul hostel at plaza real 17. they have fun roof parties and i'm sure if you walked right in nobody would ask questions :) that or you could make friends with somebody as they go inside...bwaha.. perhaps check out other hostels online to meet people at *shrug* i know kabul is "the" place, so i would assume it's still busy now even though it's the off-season.
miss you! so jealous.

Hah, awsome. I've been to southern Spain a couple times, along the Costa Del Sol, Toremolino's, Puerto Banus, etc. (dont know if the spelling is right..). Really cool country.

Hah hah hah. That's great. That always makes me wonder like when people get t-shirts with asian scripts on them, what they actually say. "Stupid white boy think this mean 'love'!" or something like that :p

Hello, I'm new to reading your LJ. I'm JM's girlfriend(Heather) and JM's a friend of Robert. If that's any sort of connection at all? I also would like to say I really quite enjoy your art work. It's lovely, I printed some of it and pasted it in my sketchbook, I hope you don't mind. How long are you going to be in Europe? From your personal experience, is PW really quite a wretched school or decent?

Take care,
Heather

Hah, thanks. No no, don´t mind at all. It´s flattering, in an awkward "Why would anyone like my art?" sort of way.

Aiya, any more specifics? I know about 100000x Roberts... and i´m not familiar with JM...

Aiya, i hate formal education, so i wouldn´t be the best person to ask about that. Nothing but a horrendous bias here. However... I suppose PW is ok, though. No one ever bothered me. The teachers seem alright.

As for Spain, i´ll be here for about 6 months. Huzzay! -Allison

Well, I've talked to Robert a few times, he's very nice and we both like trance-ish music. I really do like your art though, I'm decent enough at it, I just expect a masterpiece doodling for 10 minutes during English; it's my down fall. What made you decide to travel/stay in Europe for 6 months?
